ThermalShield is a foil faced wall vapor barrier use on basement walls prior to finishing off the basement. It has a white poly on one side. It can be sealed to the foundation wall with our FSEAL (FinishShield Caulk) It is mechanically fastened to the foundation wall with our (XT1) Christmas Tree Fasteners and the seams can be taped using our (THST) ThermalShield Foil Tape.
It will reflect up to 97% of the heat back into the basement living space. It makes for a much warmer basement in the winter and also cooler in the summer.
